On Reading
A celebration of the book in contemporary and vintage Photographs.
Contemporary images by Alexander Arts

During the month of December, thanks to the TPL exhibition program, the North York Central Library is hosting On Reading, a selection of vintage images and contemporary shots of people reading. The vintage pieces are all “found art”, photographs I have found in my travels at second hand stores, antique malls or junk stores. The contemporary images have been shot on street corners, parks, beaches and transit from our travels. There is a sampling of images under the “Exhibits” section of my website. I hope you can make it to the North York Central Library to see the entire installation of images, and a display of related items in a showcase on the second floor of the library – including banks, book ends, book plates and other related items.
