Auditor General's Report

Through all of the changes that have happened over the last two years, we can't let covid-19 be the excuse for not paying attention to what else is going on in our province and in our country. Last November, (2021) the Auditor General of Ontario published a report on the Value for Money of Protecting Species at Risk in Ontario. As you can well image, it is not very flattering. We have a provincial election coming in June - please make yourself aware of the stance of each of our political parties on the issues that matter to you, whether it is environmental issues, truth and reconciliation, education or whatever you feel passionate about - make yourself heard. Ask the questions, go to the town halls and all candidates meetings. Politicians are our employees. We put them there, we pay their salaries. Make sure that what you feel passionate about is also on their to do list.
